The … Continue reading To be Infused →

I am excited to be on the review team for my friend @megweyerbacher and her latest book #wildhope. It's an Inspirational Romance! I loved her first book #organiclove. More to come in a few weeks . . .
Have you been facing the waves of an ocean?. . . Have you been trying to swim on your own?. . . "Deep calls to deep in the roar of Your waterfalls; All Your waves and breakers have swept over me. By day the Lord directs His love, at night His song is with me--a prayer to the God of my life." Psalm 42:7-8. . . Join me at the blog this week as God brought deeper thoughts about that ocean of mercy.
My heart is flowing with thanksgiving for all of the prayers offered for me as I was shut in with the after-effects of last week’s infusion. I am so grateful for the time that He gave to call me deeper into His heart. While the physical effects were heavy, the soul effects were heavier, as truly He did infuse my heart with Himself. . . Have you been in a place where He uncovered a deeper truth than just the surface moments easily seen?. . . Join me at the blog this week for thoughts on feeling shunned and cut-off. . . "There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off." Proverbs 23:18. . . #outsidethecamp #community #Jesusrestores #oldwounds #cleansed
“Can I ask you just what an infusion is?” I have had several friends ask me that question lately. As I have tried to answer that question, my heart suddenly realized it was another of those questions that is actually being asked of me by the Lord. . . What does it mean to be infused?. . . Another friend prayed for me, "Infuse Bettie with the light of your love," precisely at the moment the hospital was calling to schedule the next infusion. . . His mysteries surround us every day, every moment. . . "My Soul Was Tipped And Spilled" When I was a child I used to wonder . . . If I could be turned inside out What would my soul look like?. . . For all the years I wore the mask, Was it to keep my soul from tipping out?. . . Because underneath the aching of a hurting heart Lay a trusting child in love with God. . . So when my soul was tipped and spilled, What did God see bubbling thru?. . . A gift of LOVE created by HIM. . . Surrender to spill Songs for singing A Savior’s Call . . . –bg . . I woke early to a brief, glimmering sunrise and a verse-of-the-day that spoke deeply to my heart. . . Jesus will make a way. #hebeganthegoodwork #hefinisheswhathestarts #rheumatoidarthritis #osteoporosis #infusions #godsgotthis
He bore it all for me This pain that stabs my head It was His love that bore the crown the crown of thorns that pierced his brow. . . He bore it all for me This pain that marks my hand It was His love that carried the cross the nails that pierced His wrist. . . He bore it all for me This pain that grips my toes It was His love that took the spike when hammer plunged his feet. . . Oh how I weep and how I moan When pain clouds over my seeing It was His love that sent Him here where death defined His living. . . Where can I go, Where can I stay My only source of being Has opened Heaven wide Where LOVING is His Living. --bg We are covered by so much love from the One who opened Heaven for us.
