This is so encouraging, Bettie. Thank you! I love how you bring out the tender love of Jesus. Like when you describe how He cups His hands around our face and turns our face towards Him. This is my longing desire – “May Christ slow us to savor His beautiful heart in our setting apart for His glorious purposes.” I am presently reading a book a friend sent me called Gentle and Lowly: The Heart of Christ for Sinners and Sufferers by Dane Ortlund. I love it as it reflects on the truth of who Jesus is, about His deepest heart for His people who are weary and faltering on their journey toward heaven. Love and blessings to you!

Dear Trudy,
I am so thankful that you are being blessed with these words also! Anna wrote so many of them, and I have written a portion too–it’s been such a seamless blending of the Lord touching both of our hearts. And He is lifting our own hearts to slow and savor with Him again, even 4 years after we first began this book. I am reading that same book by Dane Ortlund. It is such a blessing and comfort as he shares the deep compassion that is our Saviour! Love and blessings to you too, my dear friend. xo

Do you know, Amy, that is exactly what is happening. The Lord gave us these words four years ago. But He asked us to pause with them, and He wrote them deeper inside of our hearts. So that now as we share, He is making them so convicting and so comforting too, as we offer them back to Him. Thank you for your encouragement dear friend. Blessings to you this week!
