Sharing: “Abiding in Him”

I am so thankful and blessed to share with you my dear friend Cheryl’s website Homespun Devotions and the beautiful review of our book she offered this week.

Homespun Devotions

She is also hosting a giveaway there, so if you are interested in being entered for a chance to win a free copy of our book, please click here to go visit her lovely site.

If you have missed my recent posts detailing the miracles of how God brought our book together, you can catch up by clicking here and here.

The ministry of Chronic Joy has so graciously published our book as a true labor of love. I would encourage you to check out the beautiful page they have created for it by clicking here. Every day their ministry is touching lives with the compassion of Christ. And we are beyond grateful to donate all profits from our book for their benefit.

If you prefer to go directly to Amazon to purchase the book quickly, click here for that link.

And since it’s Christmas time again, I am so happy to offer you a free download of the Christmas family devotional that my dear friend Ifeoma Samuel and I wrote together a few years ago. Click here or on the link below the picture for this gift for you:

A Christmas For Us

After all, He came for us! Christmas reminds us that God’s light still shines. Into a world of darkness, the Saviour came to light our path to God.

The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.

Isaiah 9:2 NIV

I pray that you would know, along with my dear Uncle who sent me such an encouraging note as he read our book:

“It’s all about Jesus!”

Any of the words that I share here, or with others, everything that I have, all come from Him. So it is my greatest joy to share Him with you, and to pray that You will receive His love and grace today also.

Come, Lord Jesus, come!

The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.

Revelation 22:27 NIV

  1. Your book is such a blessing, dear Bettie. I hope many will read and be blessed by it. I’m glad others are writing about it, too! Beautiful song and dance performance! I had never even heard the song, and the choreography was great! I could not find my copy of your Christmas book, so I downloaded it again. Thank you! Blessings, love and hugs to you! xo

    1. Oh dear Gayl, thank you so much for your blessing of encouragement today! Isn’t that song beautiful? I’ve been blessed by it for a couple of years, but the dance is new this year. It filled my heart with so much praise to the Lord! I pray that you and your family will have such joy from the Lord in your home this year. May He meet each one with His precious love. Hugs to you my dear poet/sister/friend! ♥️

  2. I wholeheartedly agree with Gayl. Your book is such a blessing and it’s wonderful others are sharing about it too. May God continue to multiply His work of compassion and grace through you and Barry. And may He bless all those at Chronic Joy also – including Gayl for her editing work – for their giving heart and their decision to honor you for your gift to them too.

This is my favorite bit of your post – and so reflects the heart of Jesus in you:

“Any of the words that I share here, or with others, everything that I have, all come from Him.”

I love that song too. 😊
